Francis of Assisi, Frances De Sales and Francis Xavier: three exemplary lives. Three powerful testimonies that become universal messages: Love through Nature, Love through Teaching and Love through Communication. A single theme running through the teachings of these “three gaints of the faith”: the Divine Light that welcomes. This is the guiding principle behind the entire university projectm which regards the welcoming of young people as its first mission. The goal was to create a space that would reflect this welcoming light and teachings of the three saints.
The artworks were conceived as a single project, within which one can trace its entire creative process. The style draws inspiration from the Impressionist and expressionist movements, creating plays of light and color not only through the glass itself but also through the techniques used to create unique textures, shades and hughlights that capture and convey the teaching of the three saints.
To create the light effects of the apse’s stained-glass window, the acid-etching technique was employed, in which flashed blown glass is etched to remove the colored layer, creating unique gradations.

For the realization of the artistic works, Progetto Arte Poli drew upon the full range of techniques within its atelier, from etched stained glass to inlaid mosaic, and marble furnishings adorned with gold leaf and bronze inserts.
