The design of the bronze urns, destined to hold the keys that open and close the Holy Doors, originated from an idea of artistic director
Paolo Poli: each urn was intended to reflect the beauty and significance inherent in the door to which it is associated.
This vision led to the creation of remarkable surface patterns that evoke the artistic decorations of the Holy Doors without reproducing
them literally. This approach strengthens the symbolic bond between the doors and the urns that safeguard their keys.

These are unique works of art, crafted using the lost-wax casting technique. Unlike the urns of the past, they will not be replaced for every
Jubilee: they are designed to be reused, requiring only the replacement of the front plaque featuring the papal coats of arms, the name, and
the dates of the new Jubilee during the subsequent closing ceremony.
